FLAC and other APEs are how PCs interpret in real time.
So FLAC is compressed, but it's actually like WAV.
Of course, poor PC performance will slow down interpretation and cut off notes, but none of the computers these days.
So you can just save the disk as a less-used FLAC because there's no difference between the two.
