cc refers to cubic centimeter(s).
The volume of a cube with a width, length, and height of 1cm is 1cc.
mL is one thousandth of a liter (L), and one liter is one thousand cubic centimeters.
The volume of a cube with a width, length, and height of 1000cm is 1 liter, so if you divide it by 1000, you get 1mL.
So in conclusion, it's equal to 1 mL = 1 cc.

For the volume of water, the international standard unit is cc (cubic centimeter).
And the measurement method was 1cc of water filled in a cube of 1cm x 1cm x 1cm x 1cm.
It is 1L filled with water in a 10cm x 10cm cube.
And L is the reference, and mL is just a unit that follows like a byproduct for L units.

Nevertheless, the reason why mL is used a lot is because it is used as a standard for close living.

So, whether you use cc or mL, it's the same amount, and you can use either one.
